Salam & yo! Section 1~
How was your exam results???
I'm sorry if i'm raising a very sensitive issue here but not discussing about the results at all is also not a good way of dealing with our exam's results.
Ok, probably many of us had read Anas' post about our last sem's result and others but i'd like to elaborate more on it.
As all of us had been informed before, there will be evaluations on each section and the best section wins! And they are going to evaluate it according to the section's members' overall academic achievements. Ok, i think that's not really fair. But if there was to be an award for the Most Sporting Section, i think it would be ours :D
Anyhow, i'd like to share some stories and secrets of our batch's top scorers as i am quite close to some of them. I occasionally study group with them so i know some of their study habits and such.
1. Revise the today's lectures on the same day.
2. Make notes!!! Or photocopy other people's notes~
3. Study group~~~
(they are not that focused during lectures actually but they jot down anything they can during the lectures. And sometimes they too tend to fell asleep as they always stayed up late in the night to study). So, they make use of study groups to enhance their understandings on the subject. It's true that they practically memorize the subject WORD BY WORD but it is easier to remember if you thoroughly understand the subject.
4. They have a planner--->they make schedule on what to study on which day. In short, they don't do last minute study.
5. They are not the type who likes to play with the internet or watch movies on their laptop or go out in the night to shop or eat out. Studying is their top priority(however, some of them actually spend some time for social activities and community work). OK, this is their own special unique habit that we probably could not mimic.
6. It would be their worst nightmare to get C..XD.
7. They are the ones who worry or probably anxious the most when the results are out.
8. They studied everything in details. They like to question about the facts and won't get satisfied if they can't get a definite answer.
Not much of a good list of sharing points but i just want 'ya all to know that they are very much similar to us. What makes them different until they got such excellent results are their sheer strong will to excel. And I personally think they put up a whole lot more of an effort in studying than we do. What we give is what we will get. That's the golden rule in life.

"When you won't accept anything for yourself except for the best,
you tend to always get the best."
Last but not least, as John C. Maxwell had said in one of his motivational talks,
"Fail forward!"
"Those who have tasted the pain of failing is much more stronger than those who have never failed anything in their life."
word of the day: Biomphalaria sp.-->intermediate host for Schistosoma Mansoni
MAJULAH SECTION SATU~!
